Socks, socks and more socks. I’m on a roll, knitting along on my 12 Socks in 2012 goal.
The Simple Skyp Socks are coming along nicely. Half-way through the foot of the second sock, it would be finished today if I didn’t have errands to run this afternoon. Skyp will definitely be finished for FO Friday. Yea!
When Monday night rolled around I needed a project to take to the knitting group. I was ready to pick up stitches on the heel of the Skyp sock and knew I’d mess up if I took it to knit night, so I decided to jump ahead to . . .
Piece of My Heart Socks. The ribbing was finished while I talked with the group and then two repeats of the pattern before I set it down to finish up the Skyp socks. I’m determined not to have second sock syndrome this year. Can’t wait to get back to this one.
I’m sock obsessed right now. And enjoying every minute. What’s on your needles or hook?
Linking to Tami’s WIP Wednesday today and ready to head over to see what other folks are working on.
Thanks for visiting me today. Enjoy!

Socks are one of the very best obsessions, for sure. And I’m in awe of the gorgeous yarn in your Heart socks! What is it? Will check back Friday to see how many more pairs you’ve got underway.
Hi Paula. I’m definitely enjoying my sock knitting for now. The yarn is Kroy Socks Ragg Shades. I love the soft shades.
12 socks in 21012 sounds like an excellent goal. I think your SKYP socks were the ones that inspired me to queue that pattern too
Looking good
Loving both of those socks! Are the Piece of My Heart socks being knit out of handspun?
Thank you! The yarn for both socks is Kroy Socks. The Piece of My Heart is Ragg Shades in brown rose marl.
I’m trying to recover from a bad case of SSS. LOL! I’ve already downloaded Skyp and am now off to check out the heart pattern. I love hearts! Nice yarns, BTW.
I keep hearing the Simple Skyp socks are great – that might be the first sock pattern I try.
The colorway for the Heart Socks is lovely!
I love the yarn you’re using — and loving the patterns, too! Maybe one day I’ll recover from SSS and permit myself to cast on a new pair. . .
Love your socks! and I’m jealous that you will have two pair done in one month! I’ll be lucky to get one pair done, lol.
I am trying to get back into knitting socks I knit a few pair awhile back but for some reason I stopped. I want to learn toe up at some point. On the needles right now I have Stripe Study Shawl, Fall of Leaves shawl & a dishcloth.
Beautiful yarn choice for the heart socks! You are certainly on your way to 12 in 2012. Impressive!
