Totally Useless Stitch-Along
The Totally Useless SAL is hosted by YoYo on Dragon My Needle. The idea is to collect all those little thread and yarn scraps in a glass jar and report on your progress on the new moon of each month. And that’s today so it’s time to check in. My little jar is filling up. (September’s jar is here.)
This month I’ve added bits from the Traveling Woman and Gail/Nightsong shawls. Also in the jar are blue, orange and yellow yarns from the Kids’ Mitts (and a little green waste yarn from the thumbs). Looking back, it seems there was more knitting than stitching going on this month. But the jar also includes threads from the Falling Leaves bookmark.
If you’d like to join the stitch-along or check the progress of other folks (I’m headed over as soon as this is posted) click on the link above or in the sidebar.
A Few More Fall Break Pictures
Gatlinburg was all decked out for Autumn — beautiful colors and decoration everywhere. We always seem to spend a lot of time in The Village shops in Gatlinburg. The shops are cozy and quaint.
Last installment of the Fall Break trip tomorrow.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
