Mr. Snow Ornament

DH had to work today so while I was out running some errands, I made a little stop at Hobby Lobby.  I usually go with purchases in mind and don’t spend a lot of time looking around.  But today, with DH busy, I had lots of time for a little random 😉 shopping.

Gardening Welcome Kit

I used my coupon on this cross-stitch kit — Gardening Welcome from Imaginating.  WELCOME is written out in tools and symbols from the garden.  I’m looking forward to starting this and having it finished in the spring.  I also picked up another “photo” box for the project.  I use these boxes for stitching supplies and for WIPs so that they don’t get all scrunched up while they’re waiting to be worked on.

I’m planning a new scissor fob so I picked up a few beading supplies.  I’ll have to share more when I have the details figured out.

Last thing, was a skein of I Love This Yarn! Sparkle for Mr. Snow — made for the Monthly Christmas Make Ahead group on Ravelry.  January’s theme is holiday decorations and ornaments.  The white acrylic has a strand of silver that adds a bit of sparkle (couldn’t get it to show in the picture).  Isn’t he a cutie?  He looks a little lonely and I think he needs a partner, so there’s a Mrs. Snow planned too.
