A Little Random Shopping

. . . at the craft store always makes me happy!

T and his dad went to the movies to see Iron Man 2.  I dropped them off at the theater and had two hours for random shopping.  There was nothing on my list, nothing I had to find or had to have.  Fun!!!

First stop … Michaels.  I spent quite a while in the beading supplies and decided to make some new stitch markers.

I like to use lever back ear wires.  They already have the loop to attach beads.  And they work well with knit or crochet.  They slide easily over knitting needles or open to hook on crochet stitches.  I love the green glass squares with millifiorie flowers.  I can’t wait to make up a set or two or three.  The lava tube beads will probably be strung as a necklace.

The little binder clips are just so cute.  I’m a pushover for cute office supplies  🙂   Especially if they’re on sale!

I picked up a ball of Sugar ‘n Cream (color – field of dreams) for a dishcloth.  Don’t you love those colors?  The mix should make an interesting cloth.

I really didn’t buy much and had a great time just looking around without any time restrictions.  Picked the boys up, had lunch and a little more shopping for T’s trip.

It’s been a nice day.  Any random shopping purchases for you this weekend?

I’m off to start a dishcloth with my new cotton.  Thanks for visiting.  I hope you have a great weekend.
