Project Spectrum focused on the color green in June. I shared the shades and textures of greens in the garden here.
The Mystery 220 June project was finished in green, of course.
Infinitely Simple Lace Infinity Scarf
NaturallyCaron.com Spa – green sheen
US size 10 circulars
True to its name, this was a simple and very enjoyable knit. This yarn is so, so soft and makes a lovely, light fabric. Since this is an acrylic/bamboo blend, it curled on the edges quite and bit. With a good steam blocking, the edges behave and the fabric seems even softer. I’d love to make more of these. Link to the pattern is here.
Last up for June green are some small crochet squares. Still not sure what these will be once their joined. But right now it doesn’t matter ’cause they’re so quick and fun to make up. 🙂
The original plan included two sets, one bright and the other softer colors. I’ve scrapped the brights for now. The little squares are being stored in an old Ball jar and look quite nice on the shelf in the craft room.
Well that’s it for June. July focuses on blue/indigo. I’ll be back soon with a collage of blues that we found at the arboretum on July 4th.
Have a great day and thanks so much for visiting my little corner of the blog world.
