February 2012 Wrap-Up

Happy Leap Day!  It’s time to take a look at progress on February’s goals.  Even with an extra day, February seems to have flown by.  Looking back, I came pretty close.

February Finishes

And checking on goals . . .

√  Reorganize the craft room.  I’m checking this off because all the hard work has been done and just a few finishing touches are needed.  I’ll do a little “ta da” when everything is put away.

√+  Finish another pair of socks for 12 Socks in 2012.  Two pair finished — Piece of My Heart Socks for me and Hedgerow Socks for J (FO post for these coming soon).  That brings the total to four.  I also started No Purl Monkeys.

Make progress on the hexipuff cusion.  No check here, unless looking at the container of finished puffs when working in the craft room counts.

Frog or Finish one very old, forgotten WIP.  Yarn reorganization included a sort through the project basket and frogging of two WIP scarves.  I don’t remember why or when they were started, so the yarn has been rewound and stored for another day.

Complete February’s cross-stitch design from Sylvia’s My Little Heart SAL.  Stitching is complete, just need to decide how to finish.

1/2  Read two more books on TBR list.  I’m taking a half check since I finished only one book, Ryan’s Return.  The sudoku app I downloaded on the Kindle may have eaten into my reading time this month.  I love sudoku puzzles.

Pick up the drop spindle and get started.  Sadly, I haven’t done much more than look through the books again.

That’s it for my February.  How did your month go?  Do you have any plans for March?
