I’m participating in the Index-Card-A-Day 2013 challenge hosted by Tammy @ Daisy Yellow. Basically, create something (doodle, draw, paint, collage, stitch, stamp, write, whatever) on a 3×5 index card every day beginning June 1 and ending July 31. Specifics can be found here.
Here are my cards for Week 1 ~ June 1-7.
#1 ~ “Sing a Rainbow” ~
#2 ~ Zebra Puzzle Grid ~
washi tape, puzzle page, markers
#3 ~ Blotted Colors ~
paper towel used to blot inks and watercolors, mod-podge
#4 ~ Doodle Borders ~
# 5 ~ Paisley ~
paisley cut from paper towel used to blot inks and watercolor, pens, gel pens, colored pencils
#6 ~ Bloom ~
magazine pictures, clip art, pen
#7 ~ Live a More Colorful Life ~
magazine photo cut into strips, pen
It’s been therapeutic during the crazy week to take a bit of time each day to concentrate on the little cards. Some have taken more work than others, but the point for me is just to create . . . each day.
Want to play along? You can jump in any time. Lots of inspiration found here. No need to catch up, just start.
