This week has flown by. Only ten days remain in the ICAD challenge with Daisy Yellow. Here are this week’s cards.
Week 7 ~ July 13-July 20
#43 ~ “Apple Tiles”
3×5 blank index card, graph paper, watercolor pencils, markers, pens
This reminds me of a tiled, kitchen backsplash.
#44 ~ “Magenta”
3×5 blank index card, octagon stencil, marker, pen
It’s hard to tell, but the color is really a pretty magenta (one of this week’s prompts).
#45 ~ “It’s Time”
3×5 blank index card, spray inks, washi tape, magazine clippings, metal clock faces, brads
#46 ~ “Inspire, Imagine, Shine”
3×5 blank index card, acrylic paints, stickers, pens
The background was created last week with leftover paints and just waited for an idea to come along.
#47 ~ “Waterdrop”
3×5 blank index card, watercolor, pen
The prompt was raindrops. I had to do a little searching to get ideas on how to draw the puddle splash.
#48 ~ “What’s Your Number?”
3×5 blank index card, number stencil, spray inks
I had planed to add to the card, but once the inks dried I didn’t want to change it.
#49 ~ “Cups”
3×5 blank index card, watercolor, markers, pens
Not crazy about the background, but I like the cups.

Today is the last day of the Tour de France. So the Tour de Fleece comes to an end as well. ICAD and TdF have kept me very busy this month. I’m pretty pleased with my progress in both. Tour de Fleece results coming soon.
Enjoy your day!

Hi, Judy. I’ll keep them on the ring and browse through when I need ideas and some may be expanded into journal pages at some point.

Wow those are all beautiful. I am sad to see TDF end I didn’t hit my goal of spinning every day but I do feel like I have a handle on using my drop spindle without actually dropping it lol.

Q – Your cards are an inspiration! I’m sorry that we’ve had so many visitors, obligations, etc that I couldn’t join in.

Thank you so much. This challenge has really motivated me to try new things. Daisy Yellow also facilitates a weekly prompt that I may try for while.
