Finished just in time for the Ravellenic Closing Ceremony.
GF Polwarth was a pleasure to spin and drafted very smoothly. I rushed the plying a bit and wish it was a little more consistent. Still, I love the way the colors worked out and can’t wait knit with this yarn. Soon.
~ Fiber to yarn in 13 days ~
Enjoy your weekend!
Q – Absolutely stunning! Cannot wait to see what knitting project it is used for. I do love Greenwood Fiberworks. After plying 1200 yards yesterday I totally understand “plying boredom”.
Going to check out your Goodreads right now.

Thank you 🙂 I can’t imagine plying that many yards. I hope I get better as I get to know my wheel. I think I was more consistent on the spindle.

Q – You will! I couldn’t get the hang of the spindle. LOL! Yet some of the women in class make the most beautiful yarn on the spindle.

Wow! What an incredible and amazing journey – I’m so glad you shared it with us – and then provided all the pictures – that really helps me understand the process in a much clearer fashion.
Simply awesome end result – the colorway seems so “fresh and happy” to me – seems like a teasing taste of Spring – and all colorful things to come. 🙂
Have a great weekend Janet 🙂
