FO Friday ~ Husband Socks

I wrote a post about ~J’s~ socks a week or so ago and found it this morning sitting in the draft folder.  Hmmmmmm.  Well, better late than never, I guess.

Pattern  ::  My Own Pattern
Yarn ::  Miss Babs Windsor Sock, bruin colorway
Needle  ::  US 1 (2.25 mm)

The pattern has a simple rib down the sides, a Fish Lips Kiss Heel, and round toe.  I bought the yarn a couple of years ago at the Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival.  Love Miss Babs’ yarn.  Sadly, bruin is a one-time-only colorway.  Wouldn’t it make a great sweater?  ~J~ has worn these a couple of times now and declares them to be a great fit.

Saturday’s forecast is sunny and warm, temperatures in the 60s.  Spring is back . . . for at least a day.          🙂

Enjoy your weekend, friends!

  1. Nice colors! My sis is knitting me some. I have two pair of hand knitted socks (one from my sis and one from my niece Tina). I love them!

      1. Yes – once bitten by the hand-knit socks bug, it does make one want a drawer-full of them 😉

  3. Socks are just so darned adaptable, aren’t they 🙂 I’ve got a pair of “Husband Socks” on the needles myself…ribbing is the key to a fit he can live with.
