The Documented Life Project (yesterday’s post) is one of two year-long art journaling projects I’m participating in. The other is the Journal 52 workshop. I’m working in a 7×10″, spiral mixed media book, which is a larger page than I’ve used previously. The larger size was a concern at first, but I wanted to stretch a bit. The heavier paper has allowed me to experiment more with paints and inks. I shared a couple of pages earlier — here and here. And a few more pages . . .
Fun! A mixture of word stickers and magazine clippings. Framed in washi tape, of course. I may have a bit of a washi tape problem. 🙂
My favorite colors at the moment — turquoise, lime green, orange, yellow and red — applied with an old gift card.
I don’t have a daily schedule anymore. Yea! So I drew things that I enjoy including in my days.
Flowers and leaves were drawn on scrapbook papers, cut out and adhered to the page. People, like flowers in the garden, need the same elements to grow and thrive.

I really enjoy the time I spend working in the journals. Thanks for letting me share.
Enjoy your day!
This is so neat! I love the “How does your garden grow” page.

I like the journal pages! It’s funny, only today I was thinking today that I should start a journal, but I don’t really like the idea of writing, if you get me.. This could be a good compromise! Do you do a page a week is it?
