FO Friday ~ Piper’s Journey

Hooray for Friday!  Thank you so much for all the sweet comments and concerns about my knee.  Things were better this morning.  I had PT this afternoon and came away with a plan!

 Now, on to the knitting FO.

Pattern  ::  Piper’s Journey by Paula Emons-Fuessle
Yarn  ::  Wolle’s Yarn Creations Color Changing Cotton
Needles  ::  US 3 (3.25 mm)

This sweet little scarf has waited over a year to be finished.  I purchased the yarn (my first Wolle’s cotton) on a visit with the kids in Florida (April 2013).  The colorway is Spanish Moss, a perfect reminder of our trip.  The shawl was started soon after.  When the long, lace border became a little boring, it was set aside and then picked up now and again.  Thanks to Stash Dash I was motivated to finish it up.  Although it’s a bit smaller than I anticipated, it will make a perfect summer shoulder wrap.

Looking at the photos just now, I see an error in the lace edge.  No way am I tinking back 90ish rows so I’ve decided to “embrace the imperfection”.      🙂

Happy Friday everyone and enjoy your weekend!

♥  Janet

  1. I can’t see the error in the lace (mind you, I didn’t scrutinize) so I bet no one else will notice, either. 🙂

    You picked a gorgeous yarn colorway! It’s a beautiful shawl.
