WIP Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

1-DSCN3504On the needles . . . The Bohemian shawl is nearing the end, only 2-3 inches more of ribbing until bind off.  I have really enjoyed this project.

On the wheel . . . I’ve been able to spin every day for the Tour de Fleece and watch most of the Tour de France while I spin.  Both bobbins of the Ashland Bay merino are ready to be plied today.  While they rested last night, I started another Ashland Bay fiber, this time a merino/silk blend.

On the bookshelf . . . Still enjoying The Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris.  With everything else going on, I only manage a few pages during breakfast.

Off now to ply the merino while I watch the rest of today’s race.  How are your projects coming along?  Enjoy the rest of your week.

  1. Your shawl will envelop you in warmth as it looks large. How fun it must be to spin while watching the cyclists. It must feel life you’re cycling along with them.

  2. The shine on that wool is amazing. I love Ashland Bay merinos. I have a bin full of them around here somewhere.
Your shawl is lovely. Beautiful and practical!
