ICAD 2015 Wrap-up

icad finalICAD 2015 ended July 31.  61 cards, tiny pieces of art, in 61 days.  I L♥VE this project, look forward to it starting every year, and feel a little sad when it comes to an end.

I had simple goals for this year’s challenge — follow each day’s prompt, work from stash only, use mixed media collage.  Here are the last 5 cards and prompts.

Day 57  ::  prompt – sunrise

4-DSCN3626

Day 58  ::  prompt – Queen of Hearts

5-DSCN3627

Day 59  ::  prompt – plaid

6-DSCN3628

Day 60  ::  prompt – advice

7-DSCN3630

Day 61  ::  prompt – parachute

Another set of cards bundled and in the card box.

The Kids and little Cricket are back for a visit so I may be a little scarce around here for a week or so.  Gram has some songs to sing, books to read, hugs and cuddles to give away.

  1. Grandmothers are a gift. My daughters love my mum who spoils them rotten. I chuckled at Olaf’s card. His cheerfully positive voice echoed through my head. I like the mad plaid one. I’d take a pair of pants in each of those patterns and colors.

  2. Oh no, I’m sad too that it is over. I really don’t know how you managed to keep up. Each one is a little masterpiece.
    Have fun with the little ones!
